This Privacy Policy complies with the following legal provisions:

  • French Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and individual liberties, as amended by Act no. 2018-493 of 20 June 2018,

  • French Act no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 for confidence in the digital economy (LCEN),

  • EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).

In the course of its activities, Field Rédact SEO® collects and processes personal data from Users who interact with the website or with the services it provides.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform Users, as owners of their personal data, of the conditions and purposes of data collection and processing, and of the rights available to them.

This document may be updated by Field Rédact SEO® to keep pace with changes in the law and in its practices. Where necessary, the User will be informed of the impact on the processing of their personal data.

2. Definitions

"Field Rédact SEO®" refers to the data controller, also the publisher of this website.

The "Client" refers to any professional who has entered into a contract with Field Rédact SEO® through the signing of an agreement, a purchase, or any other form of commercial engagement.

A "cookie" refers to a small tracker file placed on the User's device that records information about their browsing and navigation on the website.

"Personal data" refers to personal data within the meaning of the GDPR — that is, data enabling direct or indirect identification of an individual.

The "Privacy Policy" refers to this present document.

The "data controller" is responsible for determining the purposes and means of personal data processing.

The "GDPR" refers to EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

The "website" refers to the website accessible at any time via https://www.fieldredactseo.fr.

The "User" refers to any person browsing the website and consenting to transmit their personal data within the framework defined by this Privacy Policy. A User may be a Client; the reverse is not necessarily true.

3. Data Controller

Yannick Cochet is the data controller for personal data collected on this website.

He commits to making proportionate use of that data and to maintaining a simplified record of processing activities, in accordance with the GDPR.

He implements all measures necessary to secure the processing and storage of personal data collected, using appropriate technical and organisational safeguards.

In the event of a confirmed risk of personal data breach affecting the User, Field Rédact SEO® will cooperate with the CNIL (French data protection authority) and, where necessary, will inform the owner of the personal data of all processes implemented to establish a resolution.

4. Data Collected

Personal data is collected in a lawful and transparent manner with regard to the individuals concerned, in compliance with the GDPR.

In the course of its activities and the use of the website, Field Rédact SEO® is required to collect certain personal data in order to provide personalised information, adequate responses, and its services.

The following personal data is collected on this website:

Contact form (via Systeme.io)

  • Company name

  • Website

  • Email address

  • Message

  • Captcha (to validate form submission and prevent spam)

Information collected through the contact form is sent and processed via Systeme.io, a contact management and automation tool. This information includes the company name, website, email address, and message sent. A Captcha validation field is used to prevent automated messages (spam). Data is retained in accordance with Systeme.io's privacy policy and is used exclusively to respond to your enquiries.

Newsletter subscription (via Systeme.io)

  • Last name (required field)

  • First name

  • Email address

Information collected when subscribing to the newsletter (via Systeme.io) includes your last name, first name, and email address. The last name field is mandatory to complete the subscription. By subscribing, you consent to the processing of your information in order to receive communications from us. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email. Data is collected and processed by Systeme.io, our email and contact management tool, in accordance with its privacy policy.

5. Processing Purposes and Legal Bases

The collection and processing of personal data are grounded in the legal bases set out by the GDPR, specifically: the User's consent, Field Rédact SEO®'s legal obligations, and the performance of a contract.

To benefit from most services offered on the website or by Field Rédact SEO®, the User consents to sharing their personal data when:

  • Booking and scheduling a discovery call

  • Booking and scheduling a service

  • Filling in the contact form to receive a response to their enquiry

  • Posting a comment on the website

  • Requesting a quote for a service offered by Field Rédact SEO®

  • Subscribing to the newsletter

  • Downloading free content

If the relationship becomes formalised between the User and Field Rédact SEO®, the User becomes a Client. Personal data collected then serves the purposes of producing quotes, contracts, and invoices. Field Rédact SEO® fulfils its legal and contractual obligations accordingly.

With regard to the newsletter service, the User's consent is obtained before they can subscribe, and they are given access to this Privacy Policy. Each newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link enabling them to opt out at any time.

6. Data Retention

The retention of collected personal data is limited to the following durations:

  • Data related to services and products: 5 years after delivery, to support client follow-up and contractual obligations.

  • Newsletter subscriber data: until the User unsubscribes, plus 3 years to retain proof of consent.

  • Client account data: until account deletion, then 5 years for potential legal obligations or disputes.

  • Unsigned quotation data: 1 year after sending if no contract was concluded.

  • Contact form data: 1 year after the last exchange.

Other specific legal retention periods:

  • Invoices and accounting documents: 10 years (statutory obligation under Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code).

  • Cookies placed on the User's device: 13 months, then automatic deletion.

  • Anonymised browsing data: 13 months after the last activity.

7. Data Recipients and Sub-processors

The data controller is the primary recipient of personal data. However, to provide its services, Field Rédact SEO® relies on external service providers for certain features:

  • Systeme.io — newsletter management and sales funnels.

  • Calendly — online appointment scheduling.

  • Zoom — video calls and meeting management.

  • Stripe — secure online payments.

  • Indy — accounting management and invoicing.

These service providers have their own privacy policies, which the User is invited to consult. Some may be located outside the European Union, involving a transfer of data outside the EU. Field Rédact SEO® ensures that such transfers comply with GDPR requirements, through standard contractual clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and advanced security measures to guarantee data protection.

Regarding banking data: Field Rédact SEO® never has access to the Client's banking details. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

8. User Rights

At any time, the User may exercise the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data:

  • The right of access, enabling them to find out which personal data is held by Field Rédact SEO® and to obtain a copy of the data retained.

  • The right of rectification, enabling them to request the correction or modification of their personal data.

  • The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), enabling them to request the deletion of personal data held by Field Rédact SEO®.

  • The right to data portability to other service providers.

  • The right to object, in particular in cases of commercial prospecting.

  • The right to withdraw consent for the processing of their personal data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

All of these rights may be exercised by email at: contact@fieldredactseo.fr. The User must submit a written and explicit request. Field Rédact SEO® commits to processing it within a maximum of one month.

The User may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés — https://www.cnil.fr) if they believe their personal data has been mishandled by Field Rédact SEO®. The complaint must be reasoned, detailed, and submitted as soon as the User becomes aware of the issue.

It is noted that any User sharing their personal phone number may opt out of unsolicited commercial calls free of charge via the list available at https://www.bloctel.gouv.fr.

9. Cookies

Browsing the website may result in cookies being placed on the User's device. Cookies enable the processing of statistics and traffic information, facilitate navigation, and improve the website experience.

Several types of cookies should be distinguished. Strictly necessary cookies ensure the website functions correctly and allow access to it. Functional cookies store the User's personalisation and navigation preferences. The User's consent is not required for these types of cookies.

Other cookies are not essential to the website's operation and may therefore be refused or disabled by the User.
